I'm writing this after reading books 1-5.Overall I enjoyed the twist in the story of the little mermaid.As another review said - this would have been MUCH better as a single book or, at most, two. So much of the books are dedicated to repeating storyline from the preceding books. None of these books are standalone.This author says they mostly write serial pieces and, though there is some resolution and a brief HFN, this series ends with a cliffhanger - switching back to serial pieces.After slogging through five books focused on one couple, I won't be reading this author again.
