The superb voice of Kethleen Fisher heading much of Davids work raises the bar, for me, to a higher levelI reviewed Kathleens music on her CD "Uppers And Downers" recently where I metioned at the time that whereas the voice was excellent, the back-up let her down.Their re-arrangment of Loreena McKennitts song Penelope just shows what can be achieved with such a good voice,supported by the high quality support from one such as David ArkenstoneFrom what I hear Kathleen is in Ireland only for a limited amount of time, but I hope that this will not break up what, for me anyway remains something very special-and that of course is their workin together.One more thing I must mention: It took me some hours to track down the origonal music of Kathleen-(I would never have heard of her but for "Celtic Romance" When I eventually found her own work-on Amazon- I noticed that every single review (I think there were 19 of them) was written by somebody from America-except mine! Perhaps I am a one-off, but if that is so then I shall consider myself lucky to have been able to take notice of, and benefited from, a CD of the highest quality
