Other reviewers here have described what makes this album THE watershed album for the synth-rock movement. Ahead of its time, but more importantly, perfectly formed and worthy of repeated listens. The recent remaster sounds fantastic, and nearly all of it holds up really well over 30 years later. And it rocks a lot harder than the wimpier bands that would later emulate it (Duran Duran, I'm looking at you!) It really is the "Velvet Underground & Nico" of synth rock. Buy it!
